I am having the same problem since few days. I don't think it is keyboard though, despite 100% level showing up all the time. Though Mighty Monitor shows 70% and the batteries were replaced no later than 2 weeks ago, so it is definitely not a keyboard related issue due to low battery.
Yesterday I simply took out my iphone from the dock before putting MP asleep and it didn't wake up.

I have the full sized gyration and like the keyboard, plus using the mouse in the air is really cool and does make it very useful for presentations (if you need that...), but also works well as a standard optical 3 button mouse.

I've been checking the refurb page for months now. Don't worry about a deal disappearing and never coming back if it's a current machine. On the other hand, if you're talking about a machine that's 1 or 2 revisions back, then the chance that it'll pop up later again gets slimmer and slimmer.
A good deal on a refurb iBook IMO is the current 14" iBook. It's $1099, versus $1299 for the regular price and $1199 for Educ. price. Been eyeing that for about a week now. Maybe if my money situation changes soon I'll pick it up.

I solved the problem... apparently using the button to perform the action I needed, will indeed require me to click on it twice and then only perform the pan action. So I removed it and added an Image and added gesture recognizer to it.

What we really need is a Windows Keynote player downloadable for free off of Apple's website. ...Apple could probably throw one together in a day and iWork sales would skyrocket (not to mention the switching potential of the Windows users watching such a beautiful presentation on their piece of crap :D).
I don't think that would work, considering Keynote uses lots of Quartz technologies, which Windows of course doesn't have. iTunes and QuickTime are different of course because they don't rely on any Core/Quartz tech.

I don't think they will let you have the iPhone 3G S until 8am because that's what it says on Apple website. For 5th avenue store it is different, but for stores in malls are they going to change the mall hours to accommodate lines forming or will people only be allowed in at 8am? My mall doesn't open until later than 8am on Friday, does this mean my Apple Store won't be participating in the 8am opening and will simply open when the mall does?

You can upgrade the RAM to a maximum of 1.5 GB on later 12" PBs and 1.25 GB on earlier ones, using a 1 GB PC2700 RAM stick.
The hard drive can also be upgraded to (I think) any capacity IDE/P-ATA 2.5" laptop drive.
I don't know of any processor upgrades; you might check Sonnet's website to see if they have any.
Also, video editing and encoding on a G4 is not quite what I'd call "less intensive" use--it can do it, but it'll be slow.
And depending on the processor, Leopard will be OK--the faster the CPU, the better. Leopard on a 867 MHz G4 12" could be painful, though . . .

Second pointless rant aside, I'm gonna reckon that this may be the biggest selling PPC unit in the last 4 years, and the design of it, unlike it's 2nd gen predecessor that I love and want buried with me, gives scope for far more development of upgrade and improve.

I'm not convinced about the graphics yet and it's a shame you can't play old Gameboy games on it (only advance). Not a fan of the stylus, but I'll keep a look out on ebay for a bargain. Is there any info on this new console?
Not really. Nintendo is as secretive as Apple, but usually better at preventing leaks, so there's pretty much nothing. The only known facts so far are that it will be shown at E3 (June 15th), will be compatible with the DS and DSi, and that it will have an autostereoscopic 3D display, which is why it's called 3DS.
Everything else is just speculation, more or less grounded in reality. It seems like it'll have at least one analog stick and two different displays (a 16x9 display, probably a high resolution parallax barrier display manufactured by Sharp that might or might not be multitouch, and a 4x3 display, probably a non-3D stylus driven touchscreen), and it supposedly has very good graphics for a handheld device, possibly well above PSP levels. It might have a Virtual Handheld service that allows you to download and play Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games. But those are only rumors.

I've recently installed a 2.33ghz c2d chip in my old 1.66 cd mac mini. The performance boost has been great!
I've noticed temps have gotten a little high while running encodes and such... around low - mid 90s C while handbrake is encoding. I know this is still within operating temperature, but i'd like them to be a little lower.

Suggest you install smcfancontrol and manually adjust your fans when encoding. Your mini's air flow was designed for the original processor. Works great on my 2010 mini and my Mac pro's I used to have.

Dynamic Range was one thing I was about to mention. I don't know a lot about 35MM only scanners, but I know that when I'm looking for a flatbed scanner, I won't buy anything with a DMax under 3.4. Even 3.4 is pushing it IMHO, and really 3.8 is where it's at.
That is an often overlooked specification. It basically tells you how wide of a range of contrast it can scan. The higher the better.

I hope this is standard on ios5. It is pretty rediculous for the data to be there and yet the ipad doesnt use it
if they do include that feature in ios5, i'm sure they'll require an ipad 3 to be able to use it.
