hi guys, i repaired the windows using the cd but it still goes to the black screen with the blinking cursor on the top left after holding option and clicking my bootcamp partition... any other solutions?

Well SafariSpeed works great, but PithHelmet crashed Safari when I went to CNN.com. I noticed PithHelmet hasn't been updated since 10.3.8 came out, so maybe that's the problem. Thanks for the tips!
Use PithHelmet version 0.7.3. The latest versions don't work well. Always crashing, slowing down safari... ugh.

By no problem, do you mean that you feel no difference between 10.6 an 10.7?
Well the cursor is not as fast as in Windows, but it's managable.
I don't notice a difference between 10.6 and 10.7 as far as tracking speed, but I don't do much gaming and mouse speed is not an issue for me.
I don't use Windows on this Mac, so I am not sure about the speed in between Mac/Windows.

Ambrosia Software (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/) has some of the greatest games and utility programs I've ever used for the Mac. They're one of those shareware developers that has been around since the System 7 days at least.

Nice shot, would be nice if there were less clouds around the mountain as it covers a lot of it up and is distracting. Plus would use just a very slight increase in vibrancy just to make the colours pop a bit more. also slightly increase contrast through Levels... again only a touch. that's only from my personal point of view though. Yes, any Apple Authorized Service Center will honor the AppleCare. I have worked for two so far, and generally I would recommend them over the Apple Stores for most situations.
I think you have to send it off to Apple for it to be fixed. I'm sure that resellers don't fix products. But I could be wrong. A reseller may replace the laptop, but I'm sure they won't fix it.
Note that he didn't say reseller. That would be a different story.

You can use it for guessing commands as well. It will list out the possible permutations if there is more than 1.

I am very surprised that your parents policy does not cover yours- if you are family and living there it should, but again every policy is different. So you might see if it is cheaper to just add your stuff to their policy if their company allows it.

OK, wasn't sure where to file this, but i found this crazy Czech guy (are there any other Czech guys? :) ) who installed a PowerMac G4 in his Tatra 613. Which is BTW a pretty impressive car for it's time.

I did but sorta regret it ... it's not SO unstable that it's unusable, but some features such as no Rosetta and the few bugs that make it annoying to use, do make me regret upgrading. Thankfully updates are coming regularly so things are only improving, and I dual-boot into W7 whenever something needs to get done bug-free.

I have one, and there's a few threads on this site already about them.
no boot support in OS X, but you can read and write to it if you install the Sil driver.
I use it as my windows boot drive in my mac pro, works great for that. You will have to put the BCD environment for windows on a regular SATA attached HD, but that's the only special configuration needed to get windows to boot from it in a mac pro.

I second the heater function. The only problem I have is it takes some time to warm up. Yeah...that's in the room I SLEEP in.
