I've never understood this time glitch that happens on devices. I mean you have this gazzilion operation per milisekund technology that can produce so many amazing things, yet has problem with simple time changes :confused:.

Exactly. I really don't think Garmin is THAT stupid. There has to be some system of caching...perhaps it's just false-hope since i spent $40 on the damn app, but It's only logical...

Are you people seriously applauding this? What a waste of our tax dollars!! I do contracts with the Navy every single day and I know that the technology that they have will not be benefited by the use of iPad/iPod/iPhone. The military does not offer wi-fi to their staff on base. Everything is hard wired and the conduit is sealed with a tamper proof silicon. The Government is very very particular about their SIPRnet (as they call it). Without wi-fi, what use is the iPad for the military other than to give them a little treat and waste our tax dollars? They already have mobile equipment in the vehicles that is far superior to Apple's products.

I dont know, when I look at that white iphone. it has that unusual ridge around the edge like so many clones. The black iphone does not have a ridge around its edge. Why would the white one? i don't know, there is so much speculation around this new iphone 5 and the white iphone. Who knows what to believe! :)

Here is a nice place to start (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2493) to learn about this. There are apps available (not free IIRC) that will allow for quite a bit of customization. But all (edit: well, not all, but a lot) of it can be done for free with enough research and time.
Have fun! I spent hours upon hours playing around with this when I first switched from Windows to Mac. :)

A developer friend of mine tried to download the previous dev release for my system (iMac G5), but it wouldn't install right for some reason. It would hang on restart. I had to re-install from the CD and re-update everything. Even tried disabling all my hacks and startup items, but it just did it again. I believe it was the combo version (2117 I think). I'm thinking it didn't get download right or something though, because he was able to get it working on his (Intel and PPC), a friend of our's (dual G5 PowerMac), and my Mother's (Intel mini). Hoping the new one works better, but if not, at least I know how to fix it. :rolleyes: When it works though, it's fast. Real fast.

I would take the NDP and higher taxes over rolling our social programs backwards. I can see, however, that our politics are drifting ever more towards a left/right schism, just like the US. As I said before, I would like to see all three major parties move towards the center.

Not to mention when dealing with these types of cases, discrimination is not generally proved in hiring cases with evidence from a single case, but rather over a whole set of applicants.
Just look at the Walmart case for a good example of how these things are proven. There, it wasn't just that one woman didn't get a promotion, but that there was clear evidence of policies and practices that promoted men and not otherwise equivelent women.

Right now I have a 5870 running a 24" ACD and a Dell u2311h. I also have a TV that I want to to be hooked up, but right now I don't have an active adapter for it, but I do have an active one for the MDP to single link DVI. If I ever want to hook up the TV right now, the u2311h won't work. So I was thinking of getting another Dell u2311h and hooking that up to the 5870 with the active adapter. Then I was thinking of getting a cheap gt 120 just for the TV. I am not sure how will this would work and I would also like to get some of y'alls opinions.
Ping me if you are interested in a used GT120. It's only 5 months old or so, and I've got the receipt, etc.
Why do I want to sell? Under current conditions (Snow Leopard, applications etc) all my 3d apps default to the GT120 rather than my 4870 for rendering OpenGL, which slows my work in c4d and vue.

From the video there looks like there is a lot of space between the front and back plates and the metal part....perhaps this is a converted iPhone 4 as this is not present on black ones,,,,a bad conversion at that.......:(

Try and Repair Permissions in Disk Utility and see if that helps.
Then try to diable Bluetooth and then enable it again.
Then try pairing again.
Also change the batteries for giggles as well! :confused:

Another question is 'What do people think to it compared to using AppleWorks?'
Do people feel there is an improvement there?
In terms of Word proccessing I mean, not all the other things like Spreadsheet, Database etc
After all that is what Pages (and Keynote) are suppose to be doing, they are replacements
